Escapade

This is a cover design of a travel magazine called “Escapade”. The magazine highlights Alaska as its travel destination. My idea for this design is to emphasize the featured destination and to create a visually appealing cover that evokes adventure and exploration. To imitate real travel magazines, an image of a scenic mountain with an open land for hiking is used. Which conveys what common activity is done in the destination that is expected. An image of the aurora borealis is added for the article title to showcase one of its famous attractions. Red and yellow color fonts were used for important texts to capture attention.

Eagles

This is a billboard design to promote the local community football team called “Eagles”. The aim of this design is to guarantee an impactful advertisement that would capture attention quickly. Due to billboards being meant to be viewed quickly, the design needed to be concise and direct. A brief large text “Experience Game Day” is used as the main text to encourage viewers to attend the game. To reinforce this message, the information as to where to avail a ticket is added beneath it. Adding the image of the football player and the team logo also reinforces identifying the team and sport being advertised.
